This is what a month of the project costs. There are no ads and nobody's data in the middle: whatever comes in is reinvested, every line item below carries its amount so a contribution is never a bet, and the full breakdown is below with the sum that closes the month.
A full month
The forum, the servers, the tooling and the support are billed every month, good month or bad. The goal covers one full month without depending on some stray contribution coming to the rescue.

The list below adds up to exactly the goal: repository, community, tooling, services and maintenance, each with its price on display and no hidden line items summing somewhere else.
No ads, no data
The site shows no ads, neither sells nor shares anyone's data, and there are no sponsorships deciding what gets published: the project is sustained by its community and nothing else.
Other ways to help
Reporting a bug, translating, testing an update or telling someone we exist also sustains the project. The ways to give money are below; these ones cost nothing.
It buys no influence
The contribution sustains the project, it does not steer it: direction is discussed in the open — forum and public issues — and the same breakdown applies to whoever gives and whoever cannot.
No tiers, no perks
There are no privileged contributions and no rewards to fulfil: whoever gives a dollar and whoever gives a thousand sustain the same project, see the same thing and have the same say.
